Issues

The company APB Transport based in Marseille was facing a double challenge.

Faced with a increasing number of incidents involving its fleet of vehicles, the company found itself facing major monitoring and management challenges. The lack of a centralized system resulted in incomplete documentation of incidents, extended file processing times, and fragmented communication between the various actors. These shortcomings directly impacted operational productivity and control of maintenance costs.

The development of a custom web application was then obvious to allow drivers to instantly document incidents via their smartphone (photos, contextual information), allowing teams and fleet management to have a precise global vision of the status of the vehicles in real time.

    The implementation of this solution has transformed fleet management with concrete improvements.

    Full traceability of incidents now provides a clear vision of The history of each vehicle. Faster interventions limit downtime, while standardized documentation facilitates administrative procedures.

    The pre-departure verification system makes it possible to identify early vehicle problems, promoting preventive maintenance. This digitalization has also optimized human resources by reducing the time spent on manually processing reports.
